About BLES:  Buffalo Lutheran Employment Service (BLES) serves unemployed and under - employed persons of Buffalo and surrounding communities.  It provides free assistance on job placement including resume assistance, referral and job counseling for persons who are poor or disadvantages.  Other services provided:  SAFE program - an adolescent fathers program to assist young men with parenting skills and employment.  Food Pantry and Used clothing for those in need.  Buffalo Lutheran Employment Service is a unit of Lutheran Ventures in Human Services.

About LADD:  This organization seeks out, serves, and supports the special physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the developmentally disabled regardless of ethnic and religious background.  LADD purchases homes whereby individuals will be cared for and are trained to care for themselves in a Christ-centered environment; provides opportunities for summer camping; and encourages Lutheran congregations to establish a program to bring the developmentally disabled from the community to worship.
